Why Does My Child Act This Way?

Because behavior is a signal, not the problem.

You are invited to be a featured expert in a free online masterclass series for parents of complex kids, and to help families find their way back to calm.

A free 45‑minute recorded interview, featured in the September 1 to 5, 2026 series.

About This Masterclass

A Series for the Parents Walking on Eggshells

So many loving, capable parents are quietly exhausted. They are bracing for the next meltdown, second-guessing every decision, and wondering why nothing they try seems to stick. They do not need another label. They need to understand what their child's behavior is actually telling them, and what to do next.

Why Does My Child Act This Way? is the expert-led masterclass series that gives parents exactly that. As a featured speaker, you will sit down with host Dr. Rachel McConnell for a warm, in-depth conversation in your area of expertise, sharing what you know with parents who are actively looking for real answers.

This is a mission-driven event. We are putting trustworthy guidance from real experts into the hands of families who need it, so home life can actually get easier.

  • Record a 45-minute video interview with Dr. Rachel McConnell by August 18, 2026.

The Process

How This Works, Step by Step

1
Schedule a 15-minute pre-interview call

Book a short, relaxed call with Dr. Rachel using the button at the bottom of this page. We will confirm your topic is a great fit and answer any questions before you commit.

2
Complete the speaker form

Once you are confirmed, you will fill out a short form with your bio, headshot, talk description, key takeaways, credentials, and your free gift for attendees. This is also where you suggest the questions you would like Dr. Rachel to ask you. We will send you the form once you are confirmed.

3
Schedule and record your interview

Book your recording time as soon as you're confirmed, using any open slot through August 18, with the speaker interview link we send you. We record over Zoom, and Dr. Rachel leads the conversation from the questions you submitted, so you will know what you'll cover ahead of time.

4
Promote during the window

Send the provided emails to your list and share a couple of social posts during the promotion window, August 17 to 31. We make this as simple as possible with ready-to-use copy.

5
Go live and watch the results

Your interview releases September 1 to 5, and stays available through the replay on September 6 to 7. Parents claim your free gift and connect with you directly, and your recording is yours to keep.

Common Questions

FAQ

Do I need a large email list or following to participate?
We care more about the relevance and quality of your expertise than the size of your list. If you serve parents, children, or families in any meaningful way, we would love to talk.
Can I mention my own programs or services?
The interview is focused on giving parents real value, not a sales pitch. You are welcome to mention your work and offer a free gift or resource that attendees can claim after watching. That is where your list growth happens.
What technology do I need to record?
We record over Zoom. You will need Zoom, a reliable internet connection, a webcam, and a quiet space. A headset or earbuds with a microphone will improve your audio. We send the link ahead of your session.
Will I see the questions in advance?
Yes. On the speaker form you suggest the questions you would like Dr. Rachel to ask, and she builds the conversation from those. You will know exactly what ground you will cover.
What happens to my recording after the event?
It is yours to keep. After the event we send your recording to you, and you are free to share, repurpose, or republish it. We simply ask that you credit the masterclass and link back to raisingchildrentakesavillage.com.
What if I need to reschedule my recording?
Life happens. Reach out as soon as you can and we will do our best to find a new time. All recordings need to wrap by August 18, 2026, so we have time to prepare them.
Is there a cost to participate?
No. There is no fee to speak and no fee is paid. This is a mutual-promotion event. Your investment is your time and your promotional support, and your return is visibility, list growth, and a warm new audience.
